Ski-in & Ski-out in Hochsölden

The location of your ski lodge couldn’t be any better. Right at your front door, you can find over 140 piste kilometres of all difficulty levels, which merge seamlessly into an expansive terrain for ski-tourers and free-riders 3 “Three-Thousanders” in the ski region are accessible by cable car. In winter, you can follow the “Golden Gate to the Glacier” ski connection from Haus Maria to reach two glacier ski areas with guaranteed snow at the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers. 76% of the slopes in the ski area can also be covered with artificial snow.

Ski pass prices & Season dates

In Sölden-Hochsölden, the new ski season starts on 23/12/2017. From this year on, all ski passes are valid for 3 days in both ski regions of Sölden-Hochsölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. You can purchase your ski pass from any of the sports shops in Hochsölden.

Our interactive map of the slopes shows you all of the information you will need for your skiing holiday in Hochsölden. The Haus Maria holiday home is located right on slopes 19 and 20. You can use the Rotkogl double chair lift to get further into the ski region.

Skiing Schools

In Hochsölden, there are two ski schools that can help beginners, experts, young, and old alike on the slopes with practical tips and tricks. They offer a great many different courses.

Skiing holiday with children

Ski schools, ski nurseries, play areas, and kids’ club. In Hochsölden, not far from Haus Maria, families with children can find a little winter wonderland for their family holiday. While the little ones learn how to ski with other kids in a fun way, their parents can enjoy some wintersports in the Sölden ski region.

Free-Riding

The terrain around the Sölden-Hochsölden ski region offers excellent options for free-riding, and more than 70 kilometres of off-piste runs, some with descents of up to 2,000 metres. The best thing about staying at the Haus Maria holiday home is that the proximity to the slopes allows you to get to the places where the best snow has fallen overnight before anybody else.

Skitouring, Splitboarding & Winter Hiking

Several Alpine schools in the tourist region offered guided tours of the most beautiful viewpoints and wintry mountain peaks. At Haus Maria in Hochsölden, you will be living in the middle of the winter wonderland, and can see the weather and snow conditions for yourself.

Shops & Rentals in Hochsölden

In Hochsölden, only a few minutes’ walk from Haus Maria, you can find several well-stocked ski and sports shops with ski rental facilities and all of the things you need for your self-catering ski holiday.

Ski Lodges & Restaurants

In the ski region, you can enjoy Alpine and international cuisine in more than 30 ski lodges and restaurants. Right next to Haus Maria, on slopes 19 and 20, you can find the Sonnblick restaurant, with a large sun terrace, deckchairs, and an extensive range of food and drinks.
